How to keep your refrigerator smelling fresh always

For centuries, man has found different ways to preserve food, from using snow, salting to digging a deep hole in the ground and burying his food in there until he's ready to consume it etc. Modern technology has birthed refrigerator, an appliance which many of us find very convenient but have you ever battled with keeping your refrigerator odour free? It really shouldn't be  a battle and if you read this carefully, you will understand what I mean.
Follow the tips below to keep your refrigerator  fresh:

1:    make sure to clean your refrigerator  regularly with a damp cloth.
2:    when storing food in a bowl, make sure to cover the top with cling film before placing in the refrigerator.
3:     once you slice open a fruit, be sure to cover the exposed inner part in cling film.
4:      if you don't want to use cling film, you can use baking soda; spoon out some baking soda onto a plate, place the plate in the fridge, baking soda has been proven to absorb odour.
5:       keep more citrus fruits in your refrigerator as they exude a very pleasant scent.
Above all else, I prefer using cling film to cover/wrap any exposed food before refrigerating, that keeps my refrigerator smelling fresh always.  Do you find this helpful? How do you keep your refrigerator fresh? Send in your comments so we help one another.
